Dreams from the Lord are very vivid and Profound

Dreams are one of the ways God speaks to us. Sometimes they are to give revelation; sometimes for prophecy, etc. I very rarely remember my dreams. Usually, I wake up and “poof” they're gone, and I can't recall them as hard as I try. But this particular morning I woke up, and the dream came flooding back vividly. It was just as if I was seeing it again taking place right before my eyes. It wasn't, of course. It was in my mind, but it was just so clear, so I knew it was from the lord. I began to pray and ask him, “Father, what do you want me to glean from this? I know it's from you because I remember it so vividly.”

I will share the dream with you and the Lord’s revelation. To help understand where we were and why, my best friend and I are both retired educators. The dream was taking place apparently during professional development we were attending. Here is it:

“We walked into the conference venue, and there were only two other people there; a man and a woman. I sensed immediately there was something off. There was just something evil in the room. As we were getting ready and setting things up, I began to sing a song with Jesus’ name in it, and I could tell they were getting agitated. So, I stopped singing and just began saying the name of Jesus over and over: Jesus, Jesus, Jesus! This really stirred them up, and the woman began to manifest right before my eyes. it was just for a second, but I could see the demon within her. I stopped and said, “We know you're witches, and we are not afraid of you, so cut it out!” They looked at me for a second and seemed stunned. But they settled down, and we got on with the workshop. All was calm, as if the evil had left, and that was the end of the dream.

When I prayed Lord showed me three points He wanted me to really pick up on:

1. We don't have to fear anything or anyone. As a matter of fact, I looked it up, and do not fear is listed in the bible 365 times. Isn’t that interesting? At least one for each day of the year. I realize the Jewish calendar is a little bit different, but I still thought that it was ironic.

2. We have authority over all evil spirits. By “we” He means the body of Christ. We have authority over all evil spirits/. Jesus made this very clear.

3. I was not speaking to the man and woman. I was speaking to the demons inside of them. I was speaking to the spirits, not to the people. Friend, humans are not our enemy, they just aren't.

satan and his demons are our enemies, however, we have authority over them. One scripture coming to mind is: “Now you understand that I have imparted to you my authority to trample over his kingdom. You will trample upon every demon before you and overcome every power satan possesses. Absolutely nothing will harm you as you walk in this authority.” (Luke 10:19, TPT)

Most do not use their authority the way Christ and the Father intended. We tend to shrink back and try to analyze too much instead of immediately rising up and taking authority over whatever is happening. (James 4:7, TPT) says: “So then, surrender to God. Stand up to the devil and resist him and he will flee in agony.” If we resist him, as I said in the dream when I told them to cut it out, he'll flee–he has no choice.

The dream above is just one of many I have received from the Lord. The message is clear and profound. Pay attention to your dreams. Keep a journal by your bed and document those dreams that are vivid the moment you awake. If you can readily recall details, see faces, or describe locations, those are usually prophetic in nature. Unfortunately, those too will shortly fade, so respect them and record them. Then pray and ask for even more clarity as to their meaning. Also, it helps at times to seek confirmation from another person who you trust and who moves in the prophetic gift.

I pray often for more dreams and visions. I love to hear from heaven in this way. Try it and be very diligent in noticing your dreams and visions. They happen more often than you think.
